Say Yes Electric Collective began on a Brooklyn rooftop in May of 2015. Co-founders nicole v basta & Trinity Tibe's goal was to create a welcoming & playful space where the arts can intersect/overlap and also, to amplify the voices of the underrepresented. To date, the monthly performance night has hosted over 300 brilliant artists. Comedians, dancers, poets, musicians, and so many more have graced whatever we've called a stage. Our shows have been in bars, breweries, backyards, and most notably, on the roof. The community has raised over $2,500 for charities like Immigration Equality, Black Lives Matter, and OneOrlando. Say Yes is a family. If you want to perform or be apart of it, add us on Facebook and Instagram and say hi @SayYesElectricCollective.

nicole has collaborated with writers of all kinds, collage artists, architects, musicians, dancers, and more. Her poetry has been turned into songs and she has posted poems throughout the NYC subway system in her #ispypoem project which she likes to think of as a collaboration with the city. If you're interested in collaborating, please get in touch!
